I miss you DADS
Thank you for having the time to be a Loving Father, a cool friend,
a really awesome grandfather and last but least a very wise man..LOVE YOU DAD!!!!
My for eulogy DAD
Before I begin I would like to thank all of you here on behalf of my Mother, my Siblings and myself, for your efforts large and small to be here today, to help us mark my father’s passing.
I am honoured to be here.
I am honoured to be here to speak to you all.
I am honoured to be here to speak to you about my father.
Each of you here had your own relationship with my Dad, each of you has your own set of memories and your own word picture that describes this man. I don’t presume to know the man that you knew. But I hope that, in this eulogy that I offer, you will recognise some part of the man that we all knew, the man that is no longer amongst us, the man who will never be gone until all of us here have passed.
It is impossible to speak of my Father without also speaking of my Mother, because they were one. Together, they showed me what love was about, taught me what a marriage should be, how to raise a family how to respect all things great and small.
Dad loved us all more than he loved himself. When it became too hard for him to live on, the pain that was the greatest for him was never his own, but rather the pain that he saw in us…..
Dad was not only intellectual, but also a very crafty man, with skills with no boundaries. If you asked, him or told him of your problem. Weather it was Mechanical, Structural or even political dad was happy to lend a hand. Another great attribute Dad possessed was giving advice, Most of us here today received advice from dad, even if you didn’t ask for it you were getting it .Generally advice is only given if someone cares about you.
A fond memory I would like to share with you all.
As a child and still to this day, Songs and dance was something we enjoyed as a family. Weather it was the music of 1 of Dads favourites, like Harry Belafonte or Chubby Checker. Dad enjoyed watching his children dance and laugh with happiness. Though I think he got more excited when his wife would begin to sing or dance.
One song that will always stick, has to be the Limbo Rock. Were we would line up and limbo, dancing and laughing through the night, we had lots of fun with our selves or our guest. It always was the best times in our house.
Now The Final memory I will leave with you is one we all can relate to and one that I will defiantly miss, Dad was a very respectful man and a polite man, at the best of times his politeness would nearly get him in to trouble by his one and only beloved wife.
Dad felt it to be important that he would always walk his guest out making sure they were right to go.
As he often did this with us, his Children. Saying a remark that will ring forever, He would say to me “Be Good” then followed by “Drive Safe” before his last word till the next time we meet “Yaawo”
So I am asking, if you could join me by raising your right hand for the last time whilst we stand before Dad with me and we say Yaawo!!

Missing you so much Dad.

Thank you so much for the past eleven months. Being able to share your toughest moments and seeing your courage to fight on has been an inspiration. I love your strength and I admire trust in God. Thank you for loving me as your son, my wife as a daughter and my sons with all the love a grandfather could muster.
