Our beautiful daughter and sister Karin, and granddaughter and niece Makayla were unexpectedly taken from us in December. We miss them each and every day but will dearly remember their bright smiles and gentle loving natures.

"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved and missed and very dear."

Rest in peace gorgeous angels. You will both live on in our hearts forever. xx

Laurie and Tarmeka, you have my deepest condolences and just know I’ll always be here for both of you no matter what you’s may need.
Karin you were such an amazing person, we had so many laughs together which I will miss greatly. Our Tuesday night chats will be at the top of that list.
Makayla you weren’t just my best friend but my sister as well. We have so many incredible memories together which I’ll never forget. You had the biggest heart full of pure gold and were so selfless. I am honoured that I got the privilege to call you my best friend and you’ll be forever in my heart.

Tarmeka and Laurie, thoughts and prayers to you both. It is such a great loss felt by many. Your mum always had time for us and was the person that helped us get Blayne into competitive bowling, and Makayla helped Blayne as the boys captain at Strathpine. Your mum was a lovely lady, that was always honest and down to earth. It was a privilege to have known both of them. May they both rest in peace xx.... the Tirendi's

To Laurie, Tarmeka and Family, in this tough time in your life may our friendship, sympathy and heartfelt condolences bring you comfort. It was truly an honour to play a small part in the huge lives that were Karin and Makayla. We will miss the laughs and the long conversations with Karin on a Sunday night bowling, miss her radiant smile but most of all miss her beautiful presence, Sunday's will not be the same...
And Makayla, our Golden Child, working here will never be the same without her mischievous ways, her constant laughter and craziness and her selfless loving way.
We adored them both and they will remain in our hearts forever xox

Strathpine Hyperbowl on 6 January, 2018 at 4:07pm

My thoughts are with you - Karin's family. I worked with Karin in the 1980s through to 1993 there abouts at the Pick n Pay Hypermarket at Aspley, she was a lovely, kind and thoughtful woman, I was very very saddened by this news.

My heart goes out to you all.
